Showa Boston Summer Party

Showa Boston Insitute invites JET alumni and their close friends to the 3rd annual Showa Boston Summer Party, held on Saturday, July 16th from 4-7pm. Also in attendance will be several JETs soon to depart for Japan. Shinnenkai 2015!

It’s time to ring in the new year with NEJETAA’s annual Shinnenkai, New Year Celebration on Saturday, January 17th, at Shabu Zen in Allston. 

This event will be generously subsidized by CLAIR, but please bring some cash with you as the food will cost $20 and any drinks will be extra.

JETAA Ski Trip

This year NEJETAA will be hosting the 2nd Annual Northeastern Region Ski Trip from February 6th to 8th. We will be going to Killington Ski Resort, which is the largest Ski area in the eastern United States. We will be staying at the Cascades Lodge, which is a full service hotel with a pub and common areas for hanging out. It also offers a indoor swimming pool, a Finnish Sauna, and a hot tub. A hot breakfast is available on an individual basis for $15. Additionally, for those who are not interested in skiing, the Killington area offers much to do. There are options for individuals do Cross-Country Skiing, Snowshoeing, and other winter activities. Killington Resort is also only 35 minutes from the lovely town of Woodstock, VT with many options for eating and shopping; and 20 minutes from the Long Trail Brewery.

Nihongo Dake Dinner! (1/15)


Made a New Year’s Resolution to practice speaking Japanese and enjoy some great Japanese food? We can help with that!

Join us this Wednesday (1/15) at 7pm for our first Nihongo Dake Dinner of the year at Blue Fin in Porter Square! Enjoy speaking Japanese with great company while enjoying top class Japanese food. Those who attended our Nihongo Dake event at Snappy Ramen can attest, great times will be had by all.
